Privacy notice
mdmcloud is a privately run photo-sharing service. I collect the information needed to keep accounts, collections, and photos working safely.
What is stored
The service stores account details, collection memberships and invitations, uploaded originals and browsing versions, photo metadata, limited session information, reports, moderation records, and security history. Passwords are one-way hashed; neither I nor an administrator can read them.
Who can see a collection
Collections are hidden from other users unless a member shares access. People with an active invitation can ask to join. Members see only the collections their role allows.
Operator access
I, or another authorized administrator, may access accounts, collections, photos, and metadata when needed for maintenance, security, support, abuse prevention, moderation, or legal compliance. Access to private collection content through administrator tools is clearly marked and audited.
Sessions and network information
Sign-ins are stored on the server. A short device description and a one-way, shortened network identifier help show active sessions and investigate account misuse without precise location tracking.
Moderation and records
Administrators may limit accounts, quarantine or remove content, and retain checksums, metadata, audit history, and moderation notes when reasonably needed for safety or legal obligations. A report does not reveal the reporter’s identity to the reported user.
Your choices
You can update your profile and appearance, change your email or password, review active sessions, download an account export, and delete your account. Deletion anonymizes profile data; shared photos may remain where removing them would damage a collection owned by someone else. Owned collections must be resolved first.
